For the 80th anniversary of the world’s first intentional LSD trip i have created this 8 illustrations of Dr. Hoffman’s legendary trippy bicycle ride. In 1943 the Swiss chemist dosed himself in his lab in Basel with this powerful substance and discovered the psychedelic effects of acid while riding home from work. On 19th of April psychedelic enthusiasts around the world celebrate “Bicycle Day” which inspired me to do these ink pen drawings.
